Can I transfer updates and DLC between computers?

Hi, I was wondering if it is possible to transfer updates and DLC for mass effect 3 between my laptop and desktop. I have slow internet and download limits at home, i.e. the me3 extended cut would take 24+ hours and use up too much data, but really fast internet at uni. Can I download all the updates at uni onto my laptop then transfer them to the desktop? Does the DLC go into a specific folder that I could copy?

    You can download the DLC on one computer and transfer it to another, as long as you are using the same origin account on both or both accounts have the DLC purchased.

    Copy the folder named "DLC" from "C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Mass Effect 3\BIOGame\"


     That folder would contain any DLC you purchase.

    As far as I tried, no, you can't. Origin won't recognize that the game is actually 'installed' in a folder. Tried that after a windows reinstall. It just won't see the game.
