Hello playing ME Legendary Edition on series X.
Download and installs fine initially and played through Mass effect 1 completely fine.
Return to splash screen to install ME2 and it just makes a buzz and completely crashes my console. The same with ME3.
I've raised the issue with support but they encouraged me to post here to keep the issue highlighted.
Please post and comment if you are recieving the same problem.
Anytime I try to install the next games in the launcher, the console itself crashes. The screen will buzz, go black as the Xbox shuts off for a few seconds, then reboot the console itself. No error codes or anything, and definitely beyond a standard CTD.
I’ve tried deleting ME:LE and redownloading only to run into the same issue regardless. The first game runs perfectly fine—only issue arises once I attempt installation of the next games.

Yeah been like this for atleast a few days now. just a soft reboot back to homescreen. Nothing stops it(ive spent the last 2 days trying everything). And no other form of install is findable for the ME 2 or 3 LE which sucks cause ive 100% ME 1 LE after so long and can't move on
After 2 days experimenting I have found only 1 thing...
If you Uninstall Mass Effect 1 it will also force a soft reboot upon attempting to reinstall said game :\ Meaning currently for anyone affected the only way to download any ME LE game is by reinstalling the entire thing to only get mass effect 1 back.
Same exact issue here on XSX. No standard troubleshooting steps work—and considering how many people it’s affecting, seemingly only on Xbox as well, it’s gotta be a higher issue on Microsoft/EA’s end. Hopefully we can bring enough attention to the issue where it can be fixed.

I'm in the exact same boat. I bought the legendary addition so I could start from the beginning and now I just can't play the other ones?? Let me know if you figure something out but I'm stumped
I've found a solution. If you head into where you manage the game on xbox dashboard. Go into compatability options and turn off auto hdr. This seemed to work for me after trying everything else. Bloody wiped all my previous saved data also. Gutted.
