Can't download Mass Effect Legendary edition on PC

I cant download ME Legendary edidion at all. I do not own the game, i have it on EA Play (and i have that from xbox live ultimate). I have contacted microsoft support already, and we isolated the pro...

Well, reporting a bug using the EA app must have helped, because it started to download

@EA_Barrythe solution in:
1st link - would be nice, but origin doesent see me having EA Play...so no joy...
2nd link - same as above, besides, why would i use a vpn? is the game region locked? my wife has it from steam on another pc and it works fine
3rd link - my EA account is properly linked to xbox account so no solution there

just checked to be sure, my EA account says it is linked to xbox account and it says that i have EA Play via xbox game pass
edit 2:
concerning using origin to bypass EA app here is the reply from tech support
"*****, the Xbox gamepass games only works with the EA desktop. You can not see the Gamepass hub on Origin account."
the solution for that is to pay for EA Play on origin, again... 2 bills for same service... NEVER GONNA HAPPEN

@EA_Barry please keep this topic up top, a few people have the same problem, and these are the ones that had the patience and willpower to endure EA support. There are many that dont have this endurance and give up after 1 session with support. Lets give them a chance to google out a solution to our common problem if and when it arrives, dont let this topic be covered and pushed back to some distant forum page
