Can't Login to origin ?!!!

Sounds like Origin installed incorrectly.

Try reinstalling Origin to see if this solves the problem.

My game worked fine in the past (though I had plenty of problems in the beginning back then too), but when I started it up again after a break, it updated my Origin and now won't let me log on, giving me the same error as above. Origin is a nightmare - does EA truly believe this kind of extreme DRM will counter piracy? On the contrary, people I know who have pirate copies are having no problems and can play the game anytime without problems. Makes me feel like a real sucker for having a legal version, struggling to actually play.

This problem should be fixed now.

Thank you - it is. Got a few strange messages about the server and then it worked.

none of this helps me, and ive tried a lot of things to get it to work. It's almost been a week since i bough simcity, and i still cant even get past login

You have posted this in the Mass Effect 3 Forum area.  It doesn't belong there at all.  Here on AHQ, the only "staff" is your fellow game players, and AHQ is still so new that the resident population of players here is still very small.  Add to that, the weekend is apparently very nice in most parts of the northern hemisphere, so everyone is enjoying the out of doors instead of reading game forum questions.

If you want our help, you'll need to be patient, and you'll need to provide a lot more basic information than you are offering at present.  It is my opinion that the greatest portion of game buyers visiting here to complain do not own  computers adequate to the task, so I always will verify that situation before anything else, if you hope I can offer a solution to your problem.

This forum is a Self-Help place here on AHQ in which game players can discuss games between each other, and based on experience, make suggestions that allow those with difficulties to make their own fixes.  We cannot do anything with any member account, we cannot correct a bad registration code, we cannot change your eMail address on your account.  Game Advisers can do those things.  You can reach them on the EA Help Center (linked below).

I have no problem playing mass effect 2. It works fine. But when I try to log in from mass effect 3 it says error! I don't understand. My account is very new and I am learning. Am I doing something wrong? Or is it the game?

You use the exact same credentials as for you Origin/EA account?

Does your password contain special character?

Yes. I use the exact same one. And no, my password doesn't contain any special character. As I said, I can log in just fine from ME2 using it. But in ME3 it says error.

 I had some error I looked in the logfiles and there was a error number, I looked up the number and it means that the server is under heavy load.
