Can't start Mass Effect 3 (PC) -- Black Screen (No Support)

My mind is boggled by this... and I can't help but think it's something simple.

I've installed ME3, updated it and synced with the cloud drive, as I have played before on a previous computer.

I go to Launch it, and the screen goes black as if its opening up... but sits there and then my monitor starts bouncing a message "Not Support"... its not even proper english... so I alt/tab just for the heck of it and vwalla.... I see windows, so its not frozen, I try to alt/tab back to ME3 and it goes back to the black screen with the stupid message... for a split second when it's switching between windows and the game or visa/versa, I can hear a the humm of the ME3 menu background music, but no picture, so I'm thinking video card or something. But I'm up to date on drivers and everthing.

My specs are:

Windows 7 (Home Premium) 64-bit OS

AMD FX(tm)-4100 Quad-Core Processor ..... 3.60 GHz

8.00 GB (RAM)

Video Card: GeForce GT 620
2GB 64-bit DDR3 memory

My Direct-X should be up to date. 9.0 or higher.

What am I missing?? is there a setting I'm not seeing?

Any help would be appreciated, and if you have anyquestions, just ask.

Thanks in advance.

Granted, it was a cheaper video card, but it should meet specs... When I bought the card the reviews were good and it runs a lot of other high end graphics and software.

Yes, it may be the card, but are there other possibilities I could explore?

It's probably that horribly puny graphics card you have there.

If it's not as bad as the GT 520, it surely isn't "much" better than the 520 is.

It was the only datum that jumped out at me when I spotted your post.  I didn't buy ME-3, and seldom visit the various ME-3 forums.  I spotted your query at the AHQ top level, in the newest posts area, and had to come into the forum on a rare visit just now, having recalled answering you.

In my book, the minimum card for games in the 600 Gegorce series is the 640, and the 630 is below par, although not as bad as the 620.

There may be work-arounds if you can deal with the slowness, coarse resolution, and lowest settings, but I wouldn't want to play any game that way.  Perhaps someone less quality conscious may have a suggestion, my own answer is get a 650 or a 660.
