Can't switch weapons in ME1 Legendart edition

Anyone else have this issue? I go to the weapon wheel and push a, it says the weapon is switching but nothing happens! I'm stuck using a sniper rifle, which really isn't an option for my vanguard She...

Can you try changing weapons or just tapping the weapon wheel button to see if that switches? if you load a save before this happened does the issue still occur?

    tried all available options , weapon wheel , loadouts pre saves only fis is a story restart but bug still returns.
