Can't Update Origin or run Mass Effect 3

Question

Downloaded Thinsetup.exe successfully but cannot download 45MB Origin Update or 61.9MB Origin Setup. exe.&nbsp; Download starts but stops before completion.&nbsp; Source file cannot be read.&nbsp; Windows Vista 64-Bit, Firefox Browser.&nbsp; Problem started after reboot of system.&nbsp; Can no longer run Mass Effect 3 after successfully running it for 3-4 months.&nbsp; Origin not online only runs in offline mode.&nbsp; Tried internet explorer and uninstalling origin and installing 8.5.2.23 zip version but nothing works.&nbsp; Had some problems with initial install off of disc but got it to work with support.&nbsp; Didn't write down what I did and have forgotten.&nbsp; Would like to try new ending.&nbsp; Please help

This solution didn't work since it requires downloads which don't complete.

I have had this issue before and the only thing I did was remove origin from my computer and reinstall it I know this means loss of game but I rather have it than not be able to play it

Had the same problem, googled around and found nothing...

1. Uninstall Origin application (not the game data)
2. Use Internet Browser to go to Origin's website
3. Log-in, and do whatever steps it takes to get to the home page
4. On the Left-Side grey-panel, there's a link for "Download"
5. This downloads the most up-to-date version of Origin
6. Log in to the newly downloaded Origin App on your device
7. Run the Game-Install disk again
8. Great Success!!!
