I just had the exact same problem... visited my mom, wanted to continue my journey in ME2 but the EA App didn't seem to have my saves saved as cloud saves, so i closed everything again. I felt like continuing on my own PC today and now there aren't any saves here either... So THERE ARE some kind of cloud save mechanics and they mess it up? Really annoying, especially regarding those micro story choices i won't be able to replicate without starting over completely again...
IT SEEMS TO BE REPLICATABLE, so PLEASE try to fix this EA!
