Communication with the mass effect 2 server was interrupted or has timed out?

Is there any problem with the Mass Effect 2 server this week? I played fine and could connect without problems last week and now that I just bought a new dlc and I can't authorize it because I can't ...

I would like to share that I finally fixed the problem. After many hours researching online I came across this thread:

There they recommended that if you had problems connecting you should check the file HOSTS in your windows folder... actually the file is in this address C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc on windows 10
I checked mine and there were weird lines there, I deleted them and voila 🙂 Could connect again! hope this help anyone else having the same problems.

It seems that my hosts file is normal, i have to continu to search for in other way

It's frustrating to have to enter mail and password every time i want to play ME2

You don't need to. The Game and the DLCs will work just fine without login in.

Just click the error massage away and start the game.

thats a lie, I played through the whole game and only at the end realised that none of the DLC worked, now I need to play again if I want to have kasumi in ME3, thanks troll
