I apologise for my tone. I should have spent more time on the post, and I admit its far too easy to slip in to "EA Hate" without thinking.
For clarity, I have bought all three games at launch, at full price. And I have bought the majority of the DLC, all for the Xbox 360. I now want to swap them over to the PC because the 360 will be dead in six months time, and the Xbox One doesn't have backwards compatiblity.
Now, lets look at the games. The most recent is over 18 months old. The oldest is what? 2007? These games are definitely past their primary sales time (two weeks post launch, generally), they are past their secondary sales (all the sequels are out), and all that is left at this point are the tertiary sales like mine. So why make it hard to have the whole experience? Why not bundle everything together and / or drop the prices? At this point any sale is better than none.
