When buying this on Steam, will a controller work on the PC? Or is this Keyboard and Mouse only like the normal Mass Effect games?
Community AdminHey, I've been testing ME1 with my controller and it's worked fine. However there's been lots of reports of potential conflicts with other devices connected via USB. Can you remove anything not necessary, and try again?

That didnt work for me and tried both xbox and ps4 controller too
Controller support works fine.
To get past the bug where opening ME1 suddenly switches you back to mouse and keyboard (with controller non-functional), do the following:
Go to Steam > Settings > Controller > General Controller Settings
Now just check the box near the controller type that you have.
Worked 100% fine for me after that.
refunded the game until this is worked out ☹️
MELE has native controller support, but once you are past the main menu and are into ME1 there is no controller support. Is this to be added later or a bug?
