disabling HOTAS so I can play with mouse and keyboard

I can't find, at least for ME1,a way in the options to specify mouse and keyboard if I have a HOTAS flight system connected to my system (which the game thinks is a controller).  Most games allow sea...

As a workaround, did you tried to disable the HOTAS flight system in the device manager?
