disabling HOTAS so I can play with mouse and keyboard

I can't find, at least for ME1,a way in the options to specify mouse and keyboard if I have a HOTAS flight system connected to my system (which the game thinks is a controller).  Most games allow sea...

Mass Effect 2 and 3 have the same issue.

"Oh look a joystick is plugged in it MUST be an XBOX controller and the player OBVIOUSLY wants to use it"

I couldn't find any command line arguments to disable joystick input, and the only way I've found to force keyboard/mouse is to physically unplug the USB hub I have my HOTAS plugged into.

It's terribly disappointing that there's no option to enable/disable joystick input on a system that has kb/mouse.

quick reply just to keep this post up, I don't want to unplug 4 usb peripherals just to play these games... any mod has resolved this problem?

    I haven't found any mods yet on Nexusmods to disable controller input.
