A few months ago I downloaded one of the free DLCs. Afterwards, I started encounting more and more game freezes in multiplayer, until one day I got a disc read error. It got to the point where the only way to get to the XMB was to flip the console switch off then on; I probably have upwards of 20 error reports to Sony.
I'm very careful with my discs and I've examined the disc and see no scratches. What can be done to fix this?
I honestly don't know what to do anymore. After downloading Leviathan, my Single Player files started glitching out (stuck on a loading screen after leaving the Citadel, giving me a disc read error) and I haven't even had a chance to try it. I've uninstalled and reinstalled all the DLC (all MP packs and Firepower+Leviathan), started a new game and even tried cleaning the disc laser and it still doesn't work.
Thanks in advance and if there's no solution I guess I'll have to wait for the next patch. :mansad:
I've had a similar problem after downloading Omega. I cant play my single player game anymore because of the error message. Fortunatly, my multiplayer still works. I tried posting in here, but no one answered. I feel like I've been cheated of my money.
I've tried deleting both the saved game data and the dlc and patches data and re-installing the dlc, but nothing works.
