It would be customer-friendly if Origin had a discount that would be at least that high what Steam has. It's really disturbing that EA promotes its own client in the first place, and when people use it, they then get less than other clients' customers, even when EA hasn't to share its own shop's income with their competitors. There is something wrong in the state of Denmark. Really. Steam customers get a discount for the reason EA has to share its income with Valve. Stupid.
Ubisoft on the other hand does a lot more for a rewarding experience with their own clients' customers. That's the right way to promote someone own's client. And if EA had done the same with their own client, they would had lesser reasons coming back to Valve. I mean, even in a sausage factory where the sausages are actually produced, I get a higher discount. This is simple logic.
- 4 years ago@Sternitzky Promote? It was an exclusive. I had 1 & 2 and all DLC on Steam and was pissed at the time that I couldn't complete the set on one Store platform. Now because of that (timed) exclusivity I'm going to miss out on a discount that EA can't be bothered to apply to it's own store.
