DLC BUY AND PRICE
Right now the Mass Effect 2 and 3 are either on sales or at a very low price....i have those games for over a year now, is it possible to buy all the DLC in a package without buying bioware point tha...
No. There's no package that contains the DLC, and it doesn't look like DLC prices will go down in the near future.
If you still want to buy DLC for full price, here are the best ones:
ME2
Lair of the Shadow Broker
Overlord
ME3
From Ashes
Citadel
Leviathan
ME2: Arrival and Kasumi are good, but you're not missing too much by skipping them. ME3: Omega is quite bad and not nearly worth the price tag. ME3: Citadel is in my opinion the best DLC in the series, despite being tonally very different from the rest of the game.
isnt that a really big marketing mistake since those games have been out for quite some time....i mean.... if you guys want to prevent hacking of your product....selling them at a discount would go a long way with the gamer comunity when the game have been out for over 2 and 3 years....
thx for the reply and answers...but EA and BIOWARE guys should look into this...
Can I second this?
Mass Effect trilogy is the first EA-owned game I've purchased & have been playing on the Xbox, and I'm half way through Mass Effect 2 so far.
But buying an older trilogy, brand new, for $30, but having the DLC for all three games that are considered 'game-experience mandatory' and/or 'plot mandatory" costing almost double the trilogy itself is crazy.
I'd really like to play the DLC, especially for mass effect 2 & 3, but the prices need to drop from their original sales price. Out of principle I refuse to buy any of the ME2 or 3 DLC until they all go on sale or are packaged.
I think offering a permanent price cut on DLC would protect your product better and win over more new fans in the long term.
Thanks for your consideration.
Preachin' to the choir here, shaman0610.
The AHQ is a "player-to-player" set of forums. We're all just fellow gamers, doin' the best we can...
As for your specific subject; Why would EA cut the price of the DLC when people are paying the original (higher) one?
None, absolutely NONE, of the DLC you have to purchase is "manadatory" to complete and fully enjoy the games. (Although I do agree with Fred that the Extended-Cut is probably a must-have, it's free!)
Think they're too expensive? Don't buy them. Simple. 😕mileyindifferent:
