Does EA really expect it's fans to act as tech support?

And do the fans really want to be heroes?

    Thanks for the question (although I took the liberty to rephrase it a little, please remember to play nice here! 😕mileywink🙂 and thanks for the answers, everyone.

    We want to build a community here, in which players can share their gaming expertise with other players. Other than many other places where you can share your knowledge about games, you will always have EA Community Managers around on Answer HQ, who can forward your concerns to the developers, who can verify your solutions, or provide you with additional information about certain issues.

     

    And above all we want to create a fun experience that is equally beneficial as it is enjoyable. With your input, we will build towards that goal. It's something we take very seriously.

     

    So far I have a lot of fun here. Seeing so many people helping each other puts a smile on my face every day. (At this point it is not hard to guess that I always play Paragon Shepard ... 😕mileywink: )

I for one, like helping people.  I also know a lot, and can intuit or search other things.

There is already an older similar system in existence:  http://www.gamefaqs.com/pc/995487-mass-effect-3/answers

So all EA is doing is providing a similar service, featuring only their games, backing it with their name, providing support and adding incentives.

Answering questions and helping others can also be fun.  It's a puzzle to solve and keeps the brain engaged.  But since it is not our "jobs" we can just as easily ignore it and never come back, or not respond to a difficult/impossible question and have no repercussions.

Ursula brings up a good point and now a Metric I wonder, how many of the people here prefer Renegade Shepards and Paragon Shepards?

I suspect most of the people answering prefer Paragon, though I wonder how split the Question Askers are?

I would like to be a Hero.  What are the alternatives?  Villain, henchman, NPC, background, cannon fodder, target practice?
