[EA app] mass effect 1 freezes after character creation

This only happens with the EA App apparently as Origin runs the game just fine no freezing or anything I wanted to move solely to the App since it was replacing Origin also I've found that if you tak...

No it happens with default characters as well it goes through the sequence then it freezes after you see the title of the game when the ship is flying. You can still hear the music playing but the video just freezes and the only way to get out of it is to manually restart the computer.
