Creating a new Windows user account specifically for EA's games was the only solution for me.

Thanks Wh03v3r for the reply, unfortunately in the new user account the game still won't start, and neither the EA app (which on my main is working).

  Please create a DxDiag in text file format and post it with your next reply. You can do that with the "Choose file" button at the bottom right corner of the reply window.

    Hello Holger1405, thanks in advance, it's worth a shot to check the hardware, even if technically it shouldn't be the case, since it staretd giving me problems after more than 60 hours of playing time.
