First, let me say that yesterday (August 9, 2024) in a fit of aggravation I uninstalled all 3 Mass Effect games, then uninstalled EA. Once I got your reply I reinstalled everything, but let that information percolate in there.
Now:
For the ME1 error, I created a new admin account, then logged in as that user. However, once logged in I was completely unable to launch EA no matter what I did.
Logging in to my normal account will at least allow me to run EA, though I am still unable to run ME1 or ME2
ME3, however, appears to be fixed. I can run it as normal, and no errors occur after launching.
I am attaching a dxdiag from today for you. Hopefully this will shed some light on something that can be done.
Okay, new plan!
I am going to format my hard drive today.
This will erase any problematic things causing trouble, and should allow all the Mass Effect programs to work.
I will let you know how it goes.

My format was successfully completed.
ME1 is no longer throwing the "This game hasn't released yer" error, but that's about the only good news. Now it's silently failing just like ME2 is.
ME3 still works, thank goodness.
At any rate, since I have formatted within the last 24 hours, I am now confident this failure is at EA's end, not mine.
Not that this makes me any happier, as EA likely won't be changing anything.

Please post a new DxDiag for the new system.
Also, you downloaded the newest EA app installer from the Website?
We are talking the Original Trilogy games, not the MELE, right?- mikewoo64252351 year agoRising Adventurer
Yes, this the original trilogy, not Legendary.
Yes, I downloaded a new copy of EA App from the website after formatting yesterday.
Here is a dxdiag from today. Hope this helps.
