[EA app] Mass Effect Trilogy Errors

The EA App malfunctioned badly, and now I can't get any of the Mass Effect games working. Prior efforts found in this thread, pages 5 and 6:

UNBELIEVABLE !!
I just got done reinstalling Windows - haven't even installed antivirus or registered with Microsoft yet - and ME1 is giving me ANOTHER 'This game hasn't released yet' error!
I now firmly believe this is NOT my fault. If it <was> my fault, ME1 would be working right now. And if it was a hardware issue, ME2 and ME3 would refuse to launch as well.
Yeah, as said in post #16, it is most probably a bug in EA app.
I noticed that EA App was updated yesterday.
However, when I try to launch ME1, I am, still getting failures; specifically, 'Failed to launch game' errors.
Guess it's one step forward, two steps back. Argh.
