[EA app] Mass Effect Trilogy Errors

The EA App malfunctioned badly, and now I can't get any of the Mass Effect games working. Prior efforts found in this thread, pages 5 and 6:

Yeah, as said in post #16, it is most probably a bug in EA app.
I noticed that EA App was updated yesterday.
However, when I try to launch ME1, I am, still getting failures; specifically, 'Failed to launch game' errors.
Guess it's one step forward, two steps back. Argh.
