Editing the Coalesced.bin file in multiplayer

Hello,
I wanted to know if changing the (weapons\weapons' mods) colors is considered cheating,

because frankly speaking I don't like the original colors of some weapons that much.
i have already edited them in single player but I wanted to make sure if it's forbidden to do it in multiplayer.
I however know that changing the weapon's stats. is considered cheating so i won't be touching that.
it's a cosmetic issue, nothing more.
thanks in advance.

It is probably safe:  (I wouldn't touch it.)

Q: Can I use the invisible weapon glitch? That’s the one that removes the Cobra missile launcher from your back. I don’t get any advantage for using it, but it is a glitch that can easily be done.

A: Since this is a cosmetic change and nothing else go ahead.

I highly recommend posting this question in that thread for final confirmation.  They are rather strict and final with their punishments so if you approach that grey and fuzzy line, and they think you crossed it...

One very important thing to take note of is that while it is probably easy to make very minor cosmetic changes to the Multiplayer mode, BioWare has repeatedly said that even small changes might have unintended effects which will cause illegal behavior. This in turn will force BioWare to take action to you.

While changes such as editing colours, or even remapping the "all in one" button to several buttons, would be considered okay, it is important to remember that if you do it wrong (or you are not sure how to do it, then it is generally best to not do it at all.

I am sure a minor colour gripe is nothing compared to the sheer pain of being banned after having invested time, effort and plain old fun into your multiplayer manifest, then get banned for it. 😕mileysurprised:
