It's quite funny how people will object to "sam" reminding you about your email.. when you visit the tempest once every 8-10 hours of gameplay.
Yet there's no threads on the constant BARRAGE of It's too hot, i'm boiling to death remarks from Ryder, Sam telling you every 5 seconds that your life support is either low or full depending on wether you're in sun or shade on Eldaaren. It is literally, continuous. But that's ok.. just no email spam..
Or is it because, the haters who complained so much, never bought the game, never played on eldaaren and therefore never had to put up with it lol.

People were complaining about the hazard notifications as well, just about the nonexistent new e-mails.
The hazard comments are somewhat annoying but at least they are for a reason. Because you actually get exposed to blood boiling hotness or freezing temps on Voeld. You could have less notifications or comments regarding to it but eh...on paper it looked good, in practice could use some polishing.
The nonexistent e-mails are a similar, yet a totally different case. You get notified even if you not getting any e-mails. You not spending that much time on the tempest? Of course you are.Talking to the crew, researching, developing stuff, customizing your armor and that can be time consuming and getting notificed of e-mails repeatedly during that process is just not ok. I still run to the email terminal to check, seeing nothing new...so yes its annoying, more than the constant reminders of getting burnt or frozen.
