I agree with pretty much everything you wrote.
I still didn't get used to the fact that I can only have three powers at any given time, and no way to control companions. I wish someone from BW explained this idea. To me, it feels like another way to make the combat "dumper" (it started imho in DA2 when they pretty much made tactics obsolete). Not to mention that the whole idea behind the ability of switching between profiles is completely absurd for me, even with SAM.
I'm very disappointed in companions. I'm on my second play now, and still don't really care about them. It never really happened before. I could like someone or don't (or very don't in some cases...), but I virtually never was "meh, whatever" about them. Companions and relationships (not neccesairly romantic) were always very strong suit in BW games. So this came as a shock.
I also think that Ryder is way too polite. Even when disagreeing with someone. BW got rid of paragon/renegade system, fine. But why also remove the option to slam a fist on the table??? (so to speak).
My current Sara is wearing N7 armor, because it;s only one that gives decent biotic bonus. It feels like she's pretending to be her father. Not weird at all... /s
I saw this posted by others as a negative, but I actually like that there is no all-powerfull-kill-everyone-with-a-sneeze type of villan. Makes it more believable, that Pathfinder & co are able to actually beat Archon. And as you said, opens many new possibilites for next games.
Oh, and I love little tidbits tying with previous ME games. Meeting Conrad Verner's sister is definitely my number 1 atm 🙂
Overall, I like Andromeda. But I don't love it. Which is a pity, because I love all previous three.

Your mind will never be blown away by a sequel. Because the expectations are without limits, your brain works and gives you ideas how great this and that could be if..and even better if..and then you loose the ability to comprehend it any further and that amazes you even more, beyond the sky to the stars and further into a different dimenion the dimension of your very dreams....
and then the game gets released, made by people who had no time to dream, they worked their butts of to bring the game out in time and did alot mistakes...

That was a little too deep dude! Ha...but I hear you. I have to disagree though. I was pretty impressed with ME2 (which is probably the best game of the franchise...in my humble opinion). It probably didn't "blow my mind away" but I was quite satisfied and amazed with every aspect of the game (storytelling, characters, mechanics, etc.).

I am too on my second play through (female Sara this time and Insanity mode). I have to say the 1.05 patch made the game look a little better, especially some of the facial animations. I know BioWare is listening to their fans, which still makes them my favorite game developer. I can only appreciate that they are willing to listen. But I don't expect them to satisfy every one out there, myself included.
You reminded me about one of the things I forgot to add as one of my "likes" about the game: the references and tie-ins to Shepard and other Milky Way characters/events. They were all subtle, but nonetheless neat to come across in the Andromeda galaxy. But in all honesty, these references kind of made me feel sad. It's such a weird feeling (I may be a bit too melodramatic about this), but I kind of miss Shepard and his team. I feel like BioWare could have made a ton more games in Shepard's time. I still don't fully quite understand why they chose a completely different story in a completely different galaxy? I don't know, maybe I need to pop in ME3 again. Lol
Another point you made was regarding Ryder. I absolutely agree with you about him/her being too nice. It seemed like Ryder was inexperienced and sort of naive. It's almost as if he/she either just graduated college and experiencing the universe for the first time. It wasn't too distracting, but he definitely exuded that kind of personality. I was looking for a bit of sass too.

Here I am stuck in my first playthrough by a bug they won't even address! Can't colonize Eladeen. Stuck during "searching for the Remnant drive core".
