Film grain slider controls for Mass Effect Legendary Edition

I've turned on the film grain in the options menu but I still can't see the grain in game. Could there be a slider control for the amount of film grain?

One of the things I loved about my first experience with mass effect 2 was how cinematic game play felt with the film grain effect. It looks too sharp now.
