Game crash loading Mars Mission

Everything else works fine, except possibly saving, as I am unaware if I can save during the first mission. However it plays fine. When I reach the loading screen for the mars mission though, the game crashes. "Mass Effect 3 has encountered a problem and had to close. Windows will inform you when a solution is found." Every time. It's getting frustrating
