Game Crashing on Feros in ME1 - Game-breaking

Question

Hello, I have been playing through Mass Effect 1 on the PS4 Legendary Edition. I have started the Feros mission and encountered a bug where my game crashes consistently and I cannot progress or return to the Normandy.

I am at the point after first arriving where you pursue and kill some Geth and then return to the Zhu's Hope colony to report back. Any time I walk around Zhu's Hope or talk to anyone my game crashes. I have been overwriting my one save for this character and have saved since the mission began. I cannot find any way back to the Normandy or to progress.

I believe my save is corrupted and I will have to start over but I would appreciate any advice. I've heard there's a button to return to Normandy on the map but I don't see that. I can attach a video later...

Hey&nbsp;@ryansmjth,

Unfortunately the option to return to the Normandy is generally something that pops up when you're out exploring a planet in the Mako, or have left it temporarily to explore on foot. The option appears on your map in those cases, but isn't something that's typically available when you're indoors otherwise.

It's probably better thought of as a "get the Mako back to the Normandy" button than a fast travel option.

Without that option being available or having an earlier save game to revert to we're pretty limited in these cases I'm afraid.

It may be worth trying to reboot your PS4 in Safe Mode and going through the Rebuild Database steps to see if that helps out.
