game data corruption

Game data corruption caused me to have to reinstal mass effect however after the reinstal my pinnacle station key code stopped working. now i cant access my save files without that dlc but install fails and it wont except the key code i used last time. i have owned this game for years without issue now this *... random HDD issue i dont want to lose my save data randomly just cause my pc decides to act up. as stated before the game and all dlc worked fine before random HDD crash resulting in data corruption demanding reinstal of game and that is when i could not reinstal dlc ( pinnacle station). install failes after i put in my key code, same code i used before without issue, so what gives y does my code not work now when it worked many times befor!!!!!
