- Go here.
- Download the "vcredist_x86.exe" and the "vcredist_x64.exe" (Not the "vcredist_ia64.exe")
- Install both.
- Restart the Computer > Test.

Thank you for your kind suggestion. I had previously only tried the x64 version, so adding the x86 version helped.
(I definitely stayed away from the ia64 version.)However, I am getting "Your game failed to launch. An error on our end caused your launch to fail." error now, and I don't know why.
So, baby steps. Got rid of one error, but running into a second (and unexplained) error now
- Press the Windows key and "i" at the same time > Apps > Installed Apps.
- Search for "Microsoft Visual C++" (Without the quotes).
- At the versions 2012 to 2015 - 2022 (x86 & x64) > click the 3 dots > Modify > Confirm > Repair.
- Restart the PC (A real "Restart", not just shutting down and start again.)
- Test.
