Games been out for 10 years still no solution to fixing the quest after the quest giver dies don't wana spoil anything a little upsetting that I'll have a quest stuck in my journal for the end of time. =/

SpoilerWell, it kinda makes sense that you can't finish a quest after the quest giver (in this case Fai Dan) dies, does it not?If you are so annoyed by it you still could go back and do the quest at the right time.
Yeah, nothing to fix really. It's working as intended. I usually do these sidequests before I complete the main mission on Feros.
- Yea you figure there would be a way to remove it from your journal, I could careless about the reward or completing it but for them not to make a way to remove it from the journal log is kinda annoying and a little lazy
True. They should have just 'completed' that mission and removed it. The Witcher 3 has a 'quest failed' notice if you reach a point where a quest can't be completed. That would be useful here.
