Hannar Diplomat

I've read posts that say for xbox 360, the Hannar Diplomat quest is bugged, and you can't leave the citadel without breaking the quest chain.  Well unfortunately I am hours past that point and am not willing to go back for one quest.  Is there really no patch to fix it?
