I just started playing Mass Effect Legendary Edition, starting with Mass Effect 1, and was happy to find out that hardcore difficulty setting was unlocked right away.
Not trying to show off or brag or anything... But it seems easier then I remember. It feels like playing on veteran.
Anyone else have this issue?

you're all wrong, i could play normal easily in the OT, but hardcore in LE is still too difficult for me, so it's definitely a whole lot harder then OT normal difficulty.
Yea, insanity wasn't really a challenge, either.
And it's not the updated gun accuracy, just try standing out in the open without shooting right at the first encounter on Eden Prime in the OG ME1 and in LE and compare the two.
... And yes, the Mako is completely horrible on consoles. Shame on the devs both for thinking that this movement-relative camera is good, and for thinking that console players don't want to immediately turn it off.
