Have you tried to use the custom overall quality in graphics settings? Setting the overall quality as high or ultra, unfortunately, will lock most of the options (including motion blur). However, with custom you can mirror all the settings from ultra and still being able to keep the motion blur off 🙂
As for the game performance, even if both DAI and MEA had been made using the Frostbite engine, it usually comes down to little optimization tweaks to make the game work better on certain PCs 😳
I suggest trying to lower some graphics settings like resolution scale mode. You can also turn off ambient occlusion. Don't be afraid to experiment, you can always bring the settings back to defaults 🙂
I don't know how good your PC is, but with mid-range PCs I usually recommend such settings for better performance:
The specs you suggested work pretty nicely, I kept a couple that you suggested for Low on Medium and the game runs a lot smoother now. Might need to update my hardware and Nvidia drivers and see if that helps run the game any better.
