I like some of these ideas. I mean, if Cerberus can completely rebuild and resurrect Shepard after being spaced, shot to a planet like a comet, and basically turned into mush and bone dust... I think they can be brought back after the Catalyst beam. I chose the Destroy Reapers on one playthrough and Synthesis for the other playthrough, but as the trilogy has shown, great storytelling could always bring Shepard back. What that new threat could be has yet to be seen but I'm sure it would be something epic. I mean hell, maybe the Kett find their way to our area of the galaxy or something equally as insidious.
Sure the Reapers were an ever present threat along with the Collectors and such, but having an enemy as spooky and deadly as the Collectors/Kett would be important to lend a sense of dread and urgency to any story they come up with.
Just my two cents 🙂
Most of this is just my best idea and to show there is a fanbase.
