The Angarian 'face' for Reyes actually says that she knows Reyes will listen to her, because Sloane never will. You have some very rose-tinted glasses there on Sloane the Hun.
The Angaran front for Reyes is a little biased.
Kedara was, I thought, the Angaran version of Mos Eisley to begin with and Sloane's takeover as much to do with her ability to kill Kett as anything else. If there was a power struggle when she stepped in it must not of been particularly bloody since the Angara don't leave and she's the Angaran rep to the port. She's in it for herself, not the better interests of the Angara, and I wouldn't trust her evaluation to be third party unbiased. 🙂
She just cut a deal to be the "boss" - and to be the secret face of Reyes in Kadara port. He doesn't trust her either. Somebody is putting bugs all over the port.
