I want to replay the citadel dlc but I saved over recent save points(I know, I know) and it's way too far back to load.

So I just want to know if this will work. In New Vegas, when I screwed up on the Zion Valley dlc and also didn't have proper save points, I deleted the dlc from the hard drive. Loaded the game up with the most recent save point in the game and made a new save. Exited, restarted the Xbox, then downloaded the dlc again. Loaded the newest save point and the dlc became available to start new. Will this work with the citadel dlc?
