The configuration utility is in the installation folder under Binaries. Note, this is not the Binaries folder from My Documents. I suppose the trilogy pack installs the game in the Origin folder, so Program Files - Origin Games - Mass Effect 2 - Binaries. You then select the option to copy ME1 saves, which are located in Documents - BioWare - Mass Effect - Save by default.
Note the the forum mods: This is now the most posted question on this forum. Could you make a sticky with the solution? Or could the EA/BioWare devs at least make ME2 on Origin open the launcher instead of the game?
