Yep, if you want to play the Arena and still earn the Insanity Trophy do this:
-don't play the Mirror Challenge or the seek the point bug as those two are frustating when you are doing the normal play through (do so after finishing the story as you'll be left in close to the Cerberus Base before the assault);
-if you are doing the Mirror Challenge to get the trophy don't play it on anything else than Normal and even then use the "Upped Player Damage" and duck for cover;
-DO NOT SWITCH TO A DIFFERENT DIFFICULTY WHEN YOU ARE AIMING FOR THE INSANITY, the game tracks it on one go. You can grind for credits after doing the last mission and then go back to play that Arena and go with loaded gear agaisnt the last couple of missions.
- 4 years ago@draconiam Damn I was afraid of that. I'm gonna have to do a NG+ on Insanity then, complete the game, then go back to Armax Arena and grind credits and then complete the final missions again. Is that what you're saying here?

@SherryarYep, at least in NG+ you can get the weapons already at level 5 and that can help you as by the time you reach the last mission you can have one or two at level X, I have only done NG+ to get the Gunsmith Trophy/Achievement because that's the last one in ME3 LE that you can't get in a single run.
I have never bothered to do that for a whole game run.

Takes me two minutes to finish a game vs. super elite Geth with my vanguard accompanied by Wrex and Grunt on insanity (Energy drain specced for range as a bonus power obliterates them, just saying). In my first playthrough I grinded against reapers with my adept in 2:45 - 3:15 minutes. It's not that hard, and I don't consider myself a great player. Free medgel, free ammunition (tons of grenades!) and enhanced player damage will do the trick.
