I have been wondering that myself.
Essentially, it takes four play-throughs of the game to get all basic acheivements (the fourth to make L60).
What upsets me, even though I bought the two DLC's ('Pinnacle Station' and 'Bring Down the Sky') with Bioware points, I cannot re-install either after the magnificent EA support decided they weren't worth supporting. These should be freely available by now.
EA CSR sucks badly. I had to quit SW:ToR because of that, even though I had to buy SW:ToR off E-Bay to become a Founder as an Australian, since EA wouldn't make the game availalble at release to Australian customers. We weren't a big enough consumer market. Furthermore, Australians (and others) were't told until a couple of weeks before how limited the game release was going to be.
CSR was little more than a soft community manager, no ability to promote problems to developer's, who were all dedicated to new content. Many SW:ToR acheivements were simply unacheivable due to poor coding... exploration and datacron acheivemnts didn't register, and when you pointed that out, CSR simply said "that will be fixed in future patches" and it just never happened.
Does anyone remember the disaster Microsoft made with Asheron's Call 2? Probably not. A completely brilliant game that never flew thanks to the idiotic Microsoft insistence that only certain limited set of countries were allowed to use their credit cards to access the game back in the 1990's, The original Asheron's Call was a serious contender to EverCrack. Asheron's Call 2 (Vivendi) had skill trees, had in-game videos. Well before it's time. Marketing dicks **bleep** that one up majorly, possibly deliberately. I beta'd that game, and I still think it was a World of Warcraft before that game was imagined.
