Nice find indeed, though I see they're still harping on about Kotaku and making unsubstantiated claims about low sales.
So this thing was a hoax.
Kotaku has not given any real sources, so we can't know if they're telling the truth.
And as far as sales are concerned, well, I found this very interesting: https://www.reddit.com/r/masseffect/comments/6b8vw1/no_spoilers_andromeda_sales_data_thread/
So when people say that they don't expect dlc because the game sales where terrible, maybe they are not on the ball with that.
Judge for yourself, but it seems that it's fair to estimate over 3 million copies have been sold and EA doesn't seem unhappy in spite of the bad reception in the media and of course the sales were hurt because of the release issues. Just saying it may not be quite as bad as people seem to want to think.
Just a shame it wasn't better.
heh Kotaku..
When I was playing Watchdogs 2 and a group of us formed a team to solve the Shuffler Mystery (discord Team_Shuffler), i was approached by a reporter for Kotaku and asked about that mystery. The questions and answers were all in text done by private messaging on Discord.. So you would think there is little chance to be misquoted right?
Wrong.
I couldn't believe how what i had typed had just been re-written and misquoted back then for the sake of them getting an early 'scoop' news report for what was considered 'breaking news' on Watchdogs 2' (for clarity it was only minor detail, and was still a great article nontheless, I was just a bit miffed that they had misquoted something I actually said)
So when i see Kotaku articles now, i take all of them with a pinch of salt, just as you should any news site. 🙂
@Skauron, I am not sure who you chatted with, but the new article is by Jason Schreier. I found his previous article on the development troubles at BioWare to be quite plausible.
Time will only tell.

Plausible is not the same as true. I also found the Kotaku article about the development hell of ME:A quite plausible, but without a shred of actual evidence or any official source, it's nothing more than an interesting take on what COULD have been going on. In the end though, I'm more interested in what is actually going on.
@EgoMania, of course you are right. I look at the news with interest, but I am to the point where my "give a flock" meter hardly even registers. If they issue DLC, I'll check it out. Otherwise, I am not holding my breath in anticipation.
