Legendary ME2 Performance Problem

Issue: Performance is extremely bad. I didn't even get 60 seconds. The first initial cutscene is so incredibly bad, the LAG is so extremely severe that it cannot even be watched. Less than 1 FPS, the audio is MINUTES out of sync with the video. The lag is HORRIBLE.

I changed the settings in Windows 10: Settings/System/Graphics Settings
It completely fixed the framerate lag and audio/video sync issue.
Posting this here for posterity sake for others having similar issues.
@Psychotps Can you post your specs?
From what you're describing it sounds like an issue I had on one system where ME1 wasn't using my actual GPU, instead trying to render with my motherboard's onboard chipset. Needless to say, it wasn't up to the task.
Can you try the steps described here, but with MassEffect2.exe instead?
