Some remarks:
1.) is probably intended behaviour because you have help in this fight from Turrets and non party characters.
5.) There is a scene in ME3 that explains this. Bioware put that in ME3 because they never fixed it in the original ME2.
Conrad refers to this incident and apologizes for accusing you to have "shoving a gun into his face."It is likely that Bioware did not fixed the ME2 bug because of the ME3 explanation.
6.) I doubt that this will ever get fixed, the quest works just fine.
8.) Overlord never gave any paragon or renegade points. Don't know if that was intended behaviour or just an oversight, but they will most probably don't change that now.
Do you play on a PC?
Thanks for the quick response. 🙂 I can definitely understand that it is intended behavior with regards to my first listed item now that you mention it. Conrad always walked the line of breaking the 4th wall so it's kinda funny that he apologizes for the bug in ME3. I own MELE on PS4.
You're welcome!

This is actually a ME1 bug; somehow both the paragon and renegade plot flags become triggered after the final scene with Conrad. The bug itself has no effect on ME1 and lays dormant in the save file until that file is imported into ME2.

Exactly.
Besides the Save editor fix, there are actually two Mods (That can be found her, please read the op and next post.) that provide a fix for PC players.
