looking for a quote

I'm looking for a line of dialogue spoken by shepard which I think was in the first game though i may be wrong. It was along the lines of 'dont become the person you hate' directed to a crew member. Possibly ashley or tali but unsure. I would be overjoyed if someone knows what im on about.
