Losing Credits, Medi-Gel, and Points in singleplayer

Question

Started a new playthrough of ME, and after doing the "From Ashes" DLC, I end up losing about 60k credits (down to 3k) all my medigel and suddenly points disappeared (had 5 pending, leveled up and went to 3), restarted the mission and had all my credits back but I am afraid to go any further without consultation.

What's going on and is there a fix?

I've had this too. I think I died during an auto-save moment on the mission Tuchanka: Bomb and from that point on all my gels, fuel and credits were 0. Only realized it an hour later or so. But I could fix it with re-loading. Hasn't occured since.

On difficulty levels higher than normal, if you use the resume option instead of reloading, the game takes a bunch of your credits and resources. It might happen even on normal, I just didn't notice it until I was playing on insanity.
