Mako health not replenishing when going back to Normandy

In the original ME1, if you went down to a planet and the mako got damaged you could go back to the Normandy and drop back down and the Mako would be fixed (which makes sense - the technitians in the...

@Uberei1 You can get Omni Gel pretty easily by melting all weapons and armor you find that you will never use and it isn't like you can transfer that to ME2, so experiment away.

Well, the key word there was my irrational dislike of using omni-gel. 🙂 I have more than 200 omni-gel so it shouldn't really be a problem. But... what if I need it later? I can get by if I simply avoid taking damage...

    @Uberei1 The Omni Gel is received by melting weapons, armor and upgrades. The tank repairing gel appears to be automatic replenish able. You only use Omni Gel against unlocking things and even that is solved with having people like: Tali, Kaidan and Garrus to do the hacking minigame.

      There was a popup that said -15 omni-gel when I repaired my vehicle. So apparently repairing your mako uses omni-gel. If the omni-gel that's used comes from a different pool then the popup message is misleading.
