Mass effe legendary edition can't boot up , origin keeps crashing

I've tried all the fixes I could find online to no avail; updated drivers, deleted origin cache , checked antivirus permission , etc. Nothing will work, everytime I try to boot the game, from steam or origin, I receive an origin error message " origin as encountered a serious problem and must close" . I don't know what to do, I get no hints as to what could be the problem, my PC is well above the minimum requirements. Unfortunately I'm afraid I will have to get a refund.....

Go to your "<drive>:\Program Files (x86)\Origin" folder. (or wherever you have Origin installed.)

Right click the "EALink.exe" > Properties > compatibility > check "Run this program as an administrator" > Apply (OK).

Test.

@holger1405Great! So this seems to have fixed the issue with origin, but now I can't launch any game from the MELE launcher ( tried launching ME 1 and 2 and it crashes)
Edit: I restarted my computer and ME 1 and 2 seem to work fine now , so I'm crossing my fingers
Ps: thank you very much for the help, it's very very appreciated. I had already thrown the towel , thank you
