There is no file missing, the "General protection fault" means (in simple terms) that protected resources (most of the time memory) are accessed by a task that don't have the right to access it.

8 years agoOk. I will look into this DDU then. I thank you Holger for helping me out. I have been in contact with EA support off and on troubleshooting this error. They suggested installing the game in the default Origin location, using generic audio (not quite sure how to do that, but I did use my default sound device), one rep also said uninstall Origin and reinstall it. I may try that just to say I did. Why not? lol. The rep said he was escalating the issue and they would be assessing my problem and will be getting back in touch at a later date. In the meantime I will try this DDU. I will keep you posted if they find anything that fixes the issue.
