Does Mass Effect 1 (legendary edition) will have separate settings for voices & text language? I am asking because RUS voices in ME1 was awful😞

But yeah, the combo of voice and text languages should be standard in any game. I remember playing Zelda: Breath of the Wild with German VO because the English voice acting at times is terrible, but I still kept the English subtitles. It's also a good way to learn to understand a language better.

I was so excited to get my bride familiar with my most beloved game trilogy of all times, but when I learned yesterday that you can't change the voice and subtitles language separately I was completely disappointed. That atrocious localization ME1 had from Snowball studio shouldn't exist at all, but now it's trying to stand up from its long forgotten grave and murder the Legendary Edition experience for all Russian players. And it will, EA. You should really consider adding the ability for Russian players to play with English voices and Russian subtitles if you care for your overall sales in Russia and you should make it fast, if you care for your initial sales (I know you do). And It's not a threat, it's a fact — ME1 Russian localization is a lazy, hideous and disguising piece of trash. And this opinion is universal.

I went through the episode many times, and I already got used to and fell in love with these voices and cannot imagine my favorite characters without these voices. And due to the fact that in the Russian version of Mass Effect the terrible, poor and talentless Russian dubbing is forcibly included, I cannot enjoy the wonderful play of the actors who gave the hero their voices. Add to the first part of the collection the ability to include separately English (favorite and familiar) voice acting and Russian text and subtitles. And then because of such a trifle, many changed their minds to take the game, already I alone counted 3 dozen people. And I myself am already thinking about a refund, because it is impossible to play with Russian voice acting, and I will not start right away from the second part (in which, by the way, just English voice acting with Russian subtitles). So just add already the ability to switch the voice acting in the Russian version and everything, a very large, community of fans of the series from Russia will be happy.

Please, EA, respond to our requests - requests from thousands of Mass Effect fans in Russia. Add an option to ME1 Legendary Edition: "ENGLISH VOICE + RUSSIAN SUBTITLES". Estimates will open on metacritics soon. We'll have to write there too, if EA doesn't hear us.
That's not only for Russian Synchro, the German Sychnro is awfull too! I played the Original Triology for years with english voice and german sub, and I felt in Love with Jennifer Hale's Voice. No Mass Effect without her. And all of the other voiceactors were doing an awesome job. Years later, I saw a video comparing the english and german voice in ME and I will be honest, I hardly believe I would have played the game, if I had only german voice. It's the same for me with Deus Ex and many other games.
It's 2021, how can you release a game without the option to choose which text/sub and voice do you prefer? Only thing I get it is, if there's only one voice (f.e. EN) and you have only subs for all other languages and for the remaster you have to record voice for every other language, if you say: no, I get it. But there is this great masterpiece of english voice for Mass Effect and the most players can't enjoy it... WTF?
It's a disrespect for all the incredible voiceactors at all. :-(
