Mass effect 1 no sound

Update

I tried running the game in Windows XP Service Pack 3 Compatibility mode (and most of the other compabitility modes). Just like before no sound.
The Mass effect config program didn't give any information.

Then launched the game and activated the hardware sound. Next timte I started the game it was turned off again. I tried it several times, always the same result. Other changes (like sfx volume) are accepted.

Any ideas what I could try now?

      Here it is. Language is german. I hope it helps anyway.

        Hi @JulianSchl Doch, tut es, mein Deutsch ist doch ganz OK, oder? 😉

        First, your Windows 10 is still on build 10240 (should be build 10586) Did you installed that OS just recently?

        Second, your Monitor is connected to your CPU (Motherboard) graphic, do you have a specific reason not to use the AMD Radeon R5 330?

        The AMD Radeon R5 330 is not really a Gaming Card, but should still be marginal faster than the HD Graphics 530 of your CPU.

        Did you tested the Game on the AMD Radeon card?

        Your Monitor should have other Audio ports than HDMI, which one are those?  

        Other Games don't have a problem with the HDMI Audio?
